I first began travelling around the Mediterranean as a child, when family road trips took us from the UK through France and into the wider southern European coast. Those early journeys, marked by long drives, unfamiliar landscapes and the excitement of crossing borders, sparked a lasting curiosity about the region’s cultures, food, and way of life.
Since then, I’ve been fortunate enough to return many times and gradually add new destinations to my list, each one offering its own distinct character and memories. From coastal towns and historic cities to quieter inland villages, every place has added another layer to my understanding of this diverse part of the world.
